The Philips Avent Small (15mm) Nipple Shield is designed to support breastfeeding mothers facing challenges such as sore, cracked nipples or difficulty with latching, while maintaining skin-to-skin contact with your baby. Made from soft, flexible silicone, it provides comfort for both mother and child during feeding.

How to Use
Preparation: Clean the shield before each use.
Application: Slightly invert the nipple part (like a “sombrero”) and center it over your nipple.
Positioning: Rotate the shield so your baby’s nose and chin touch your skin through the butterfly-shaped cutouts.
Securing: Stretch the base around the areola to create a gentle suction seal.

Cleaning & Disinfection
Manual Wash: Rinse in cold water, wash with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse again.
Dishwasher Safe: Top-rack safe.
Daily Disinfection: Boil in water for 5 minutes, or use the included hygiene case with 25ml water and microwave for 3 minutes (750–1000W). Let cool for 5 minutes before handling.

Sizing Guide
Small (15mm): Fits nipple diameters from 12mm.
Medium: Fits diameters up to 21mm.
Correct Fit Tip: Ensure ~2mm of space between nipple and silicone tip for optimal comfort.
